We are looking for a talented, experienced and hardworking data scientist to join our London team. Your primary focus will be analysing our data and developing machine learning algorithms to create ranking and risk scores and other business-critical scenarios. With direct guidance from our product and engineering team, you will own your work to build, test, and iterate quickly.

What the role involves

• Processing time-series and attribute data to develop risk scoring and labelling algorithms
• Developing machine learning algorithms that may utilise inference, clustering, regression, and classification methods
• Identify relationships within large and sometimes seemingly unrelated data
• Gathering requirements from the product and technical team to refine product concepts and implement the data modelling needed to turn ideas into reality
• Liaise with software developers in delivering improvements to the platform

What experience we require

• Excellent data science skills, including a working knowledge of Python (scikit-learn, Pandas, NumPy)
• Highly proficient in SQL. Experience with a Graph database is a plus
• Experience with data visualisation and working with Power BI
• Background in Computer Science, Mathematics, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science or have equivalent experience
• Ability to explain data solutions in a business context to different stakeholders
• A self-starter comfortable dealing with uncertainties, working in a small team, taking initiatives, and finally, being committed to our mission
